Maria Luisa Guerriero

Maria Luisa Guerriero is a highly skilled data scientist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and academic sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at LetsGetChecked since September 2021, Maria has previously held significant roles at AstraZeneca from January 2014 to September 2021, including Principal Data Scientist and Senior Research Scientist in both Data Science/Bioinformatics and Mathematical Modelling. Maria's academic contributions include a position as a SFI research fellow at Systems Biology Ireland, where Maria led a research project in collaboration with AstraZeneca UK. Prior roles include postdoctoral research positions at the University of Edinburgh and the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. Educational qualifications consist of a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Università degli Studi di Trento, along with MSc and BSc degrees in Computer Science from the same university and University of Birmingham.
