Petr Chmelar

Petr Chmelar has an extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Petr is currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at LetsGetChecked since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at LetsGetChecked from February 2018 to August 2021. Before joining LetsGetChecked, Petr was a Contract Senior Software Engineer at Citi from January 2016 to September 2017. Petr also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Bank of America from September 2010 to December 2015. Petr's earlier roles include being a Senior Software Engineer at SoftCo from March 2005 to August 2010, and a Software Engineer at Oskar from August 2003 to December 2004. Petr started their career as a part-time programmer at Sandbox Security AG from 1997 to 2000.

Petr Chmelar holds a Master's Degree in IT from the Czech Technical University in Prague, which they obtained from 1994 to 2001. In addition to their academic education, Petr also obtained several certifications over the years, including CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in March 2022, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2021, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in April 2012, MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Data Access from Microsoft in March 2012, and MCTS: SQL Server 2008, Database Development from Microsoft in April 2011.
