Lauren Callie

Lauren Callie serves as the Group Head of Strategic Communications and Head of Group Corporate Affairs at Letshego since August 2017. Prior to this role, Lauren gained extensive experience at Standard Chartered Bank from July 2007 to July 2017, holding positions including Director of Business & Executive Communications for Africa and Middle East, Director of External Communications for Africa, and Country Head of Corporate Affairs for South Africa. Early career experience includes roles as Franchise Brand Owner from February 2006 to July 2007 and various positions at Standard Chartered Bank from January 2001 to February 2006. Additionally, Lauren worked as a Client Services Manager at Global Investment Planning Services/Mercantile Asset Managers and Magnus Heystek Investment Planning Services/Citadel from 1996 to 2001. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate degree in African Media & Public Sector from Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the University of the Witwatersrand.
