Shamin Mohamed Jr. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the NGO Delegate for North America at UNAIDS since January 2024, Shamin also holds the position of Founder and CEO at Wud since March 2019. As the Founder and President of LetsStopAIDS since March 2004, Shamin has successfully overseen the growth of one of Canada’s largest youth-HIV charities, which was established at the age of 15. Prior experience includes co-founding DECIEM | THE ABNORMAL BEAUTY COMPANY, where Shamin served as Director of Operations and contributed significantly to the brand's development. Additionally, Shamin was involved in innovative projects at Emergency Architects Australia. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa, a PMP certificate from the University of Toronto, a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Algonquin College, and Health Sciences studies at the University of Sydney.

LetsStopAIDS is Canada’s Youth-HIV charity focusing on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Founded in 2004 by then 15-year-old Shamin Mohamed Jr., LetsStopAIDS inspires youth in Canada and globally to play a meaningful role in ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030. Today, LetsStopAIDS strives to achieve zero new Youth-HIV infections.
