Matthew Daines

Matthew Daines has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matthew started their career at The Churchill InterContinental Hotel, where they worked as an Assistant Front Office Manager for five years. During this time, they also became a project lead for the IHC Pilot Guest Service Communication Centre, which was successful and later implemented globally.

Afterwards, Matthew joined InterContinental Hotels Group as a Manager Special Projects, Operations and Planning and later became a Project Manager Loyalty Marketing. In these roles, they provided operational support for loyalty programs, developed seasonal promotions, and managed relationships with partners and service centers.

Matthew then moved on to TMS Asia Pacific, where they worked as a General Manager. Matthew excelled in this role and received the Recruitment Excellence Award for Highest Sales in Asia in 2005. Matthew established key accounts and strong partnerships between clients and TMS Asia Pacific.

Matthew then joined Venetian Macau Limited as the Regional Director of Operations Planning. Matthew accomplished various achievements, such as defining the organizational structure for the development team and establishing budgets for hotel operating departments.

Matthew's next role was at Marina Bay Sands, where they served as the Director of Quality and Process Management. Here, they established quality metrics and index dashboards, and collaborated with the Human Resources department to build a service culture.

Before their current position, Matthew also worked as a Project Management Consultant at The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel, focusing on strategic planning, critical path processes, and managing refurbishment projects.

Finally, Matthew co-founded LettingaProperty.com in 2012 and assumed the role of Co-Founder & Director. Matthew aimed to disrupt the traditional estate agency model by providing modern solutions for property owners, landlords, and tenants.

Matthew Daines attended Westville Boys High School from 1987 to 1991. Following their high school education, they pursued a degree in Hospitality at the University of West London, where they earned a BA(Hons) from 1991 to 1995.
