David McCullagh is an experienced professional in partnership development and fundraising, currently serving as the Strategic Growth Partnerships Executive at the Leukaemia Foundation since January 2021. Previously, David held various roles within the same organization, including Partnerships Coordinator and Supporter Care Engagement Officer. Prior to this, David worked at MS Queensland as Corporate Partnerships Manager and Fundraising Support Officer from January 2015 to June 2020. David's career began at Avis Budget Group, where David served as a Car Rental Agent between January 2006 and December 2014. David holds a Diploma of Events from the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE, completed in 2011, and has also pursued education in Infinity Sponsorship from 2019 to 2020, alongside formative education at St Joseph's Nudgee College from 1995 to 1999.

Leukaemia Foundation
The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national charity dedicated to helping those with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders survive and then live a better quality of life. It exists only because of the generous and ongoing support of the Australian community. Leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma are all types of blood cancer and they can develop in anyone, of any age, at any time. Another 53 Australians are diagnosed each and every day. Although improved treatments and care are helping more people survive, sadly someone loses their life to blood cancer every two hours. In fact, blood cancer combined is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, and the second most common cause of cancer death, claiming more lives than breast cancer and melanoma combined.
