Leukaemia Foundation

The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national charity dedicated to helping those with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders survive and then live a better quality of life. It exists only because of the generous and ongoing support of the Australian community. Leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma are all types of blood cancer and they can develop in anyone, of any age, at any time. Another 53 Australians are diagnosed each and every day. Although improved treatments and care are helping more people survive, sadly someone loses their life to blood cancer every two hours. In fact, blood cancer combined is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, and the second most common cause of cancer death, claiming more lives than breast cancer and melanoma combined. Learn more about blood cancer and how you can beat it at leukaemia.org.au.
