Matthew Eby is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in support services for individuals affected by blood cancer. Currently serving as the Consumer Engagement Coordinator at the Leukaemia Foundation since January 2022, Matthew focuses on utilizing the perspectives of those living with blood cancer to drive positive changes within the organization. Prior roles include Regional Manager and Senior Support Services Coordinator at Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand, where responsibilities included managerial tasks and enhancing national support services. Earlier positions included Support Services Coordinator roles at both the Leukaemia Foundation and other organizations, where Matthew provided crucial emotional and practical support. Matthew's background also includes caregiving and management experience in various residential settings, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University and a Certificate in First Line Management from Aspire2 International.

Leukaemia Foundation
The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national charity dedicated to helping those with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders survive and then live a better quality of life. It exists only because of the generous and ongoing support of the Australian community. Leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma are all types of blood cancer and they can develop in anyone, of any age, at any time. Another 53 Australians are diagnosed each and every day. Although improved treatments and care are helping more people survive, sadly someone loses their life to blood cancer every two hours. In fact, blood cancer combined is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, and the second most common cause of cancer death, claiming more lives than breast cancer and melanoma combined.
