Thaniya D. is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience, currently serving as the Head of Finance at Leukaemia Foundation since October 2022. Prior to this role, Thaniya held various finance management positions at Nando's Australia & New Zealand from August 2012 to October 2022, culminating in the role of Finance Manager with responsibilities spanning business improvements, financial control, and restaurant operations. Thaniya's career began at Exego Group as an Assistant Financial Accountant, followed by a role as a Teaching Assistant at RMIT University and a brief stint as a Vacation Trainee at HSBC. Thaniya holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from RMIT University and has completed the CPA Australia Program.

Leukaemia Foundation
The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national charity dedicated to helping those with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders survive and then live a better quality of life. It exists only because of the generous and ongoing support of the Australian community. Leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma are all types of blood cancer and they can develop in anyone, of any age, at any time. Another 53 Australians are diagnosed each and every day. Although improved treatments and care are helping more people survive, sadly someone loses their life to blood cancer every two hours. In fact, blood cancer combined is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, and the second most common cause of cancer death, claiming more lives than breast cancer and melanoma combined.
