Nick Headley

Nick Headley has extensive work experience in the field of credit and risk management. Nick started their career in 1998 as a Senior Credit Analyst at Motability Operations. Nick then worked at HSBC International Trade Finance Ltd as a Senior Credit Analyst, primarily responsible for credit application preparation and trade finance structuring. In 2002, they joined SMBC Capital Markets as a Credit Officer, where they handled credit lines for derivative trading and conducted financial analysis for various entities.

Nick Headley joined BNP Paribas Fortis in 2004 and held multiple roles, including Credit Analyst, Credit Manager for Global Trade Services, and eventually becoming the Head of Analysis & Decision. Nick transferred to BNP Paribas in 2010 as the Head of Analysis & Decision, responsible for managing a team of Credit Analysts and overseeing credit and risk management for the Commercial Banking book.

In 2010, Nick Headley worked at Banco Santander as a Senior Credit Partner, before joining BLME in 2012 as the Head of Credit Risk. Currently, they are employed at Leumi UK since 2017, first as the Head of Credit Risk Management and later as the Head of Credit.

Nick Headley attended Westcliff High School for Boys from 1989 to 1996. Later, from 1996 to 1998, they studied Economic History & Economics at The University of Manchester. In 2011, Nick became a Member of the Institute of Credit Management (MICM).
