Currently, Stefan serves as the CEO and owner of Leutenegger + Frei AG since August 2017, where responsibilities also include being a delegate of the board. Previously, Stefan held various leadership positions at Mubea Präzisionsstahlrohr AG from November 2013 to August 2017, including head of engineering and a member of the extended executive board. Earlier in the career, Stefan was the head of construction and process engineering at Forster Rohr- & Profiltechnik AG from September 2008 to November 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master of Advanced Studies in Industrial Engineering from ZHAW School of Engineering and a diploma in mechanical engineering from HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil.
