David Sinefeld

David Sinefeld serves as the Head of the Applied Physics and Electro-Optical Engineering Department and is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Lev Academic Center (Jerusalem College of Technology) since October 2019. In addition, David Sinefeld has been the Head of Electro-Optics at eggXYt since January 2022 and an Electro-Optical Consultant for Voyage81 since January 2019. David Sinefeld previously held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at Cornell University from October 2013 to October 2018 and conducted PhD research at the Hebrew University, focusing on photonic spectral processors. Prior to academic roles, David Sinefeld worked as an Optical Engineer at Applied Materials and as a Team Leader and Optical Engineer at the MOD from October 1999 to October 2005. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a BSc in Electro-Optics/Applied Physics from the Jerusalem College of Technology.
