Dana Kurylyk is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in translation, film programming, marketing, and education. Currently serving as a Freelance Translator for The Associated Press since October 2022, Dana previously contributed as a Film Programming Assistant at FIAF from October 2018 to July 2019, where collaboration with the Film Curator enhanced the CineSalon film series. Dana also held marketing and public relations responsibilities at FIAF, coordinating the launch of marketing materials. Additional roles include a Teaching Assistant for TAPIF, a Film Intern at Semaine de la Critique during the Cannes Festival, and a Communications Intern for the Julia Blue Feature Film. Dana's experience extends to casting support for high-profile clients at JV8INC, along with various volunteer positions in production and education. Dana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Media Studies and French from Fordham University and is currently pursuing further studies at Université Paris-Sorbonne and Université Paris 8.
