Matthew Gilliland

Matthew Gilliland has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Mobile Application Developer at University at Albany. Matthew then moved on to be an Application Developer at North Fork Web, Inc. from April 2014 to July 2015. In 2014, they also worked as a Carpenter at Joseph Mernin & Co. From 2017 to 2019, Matthew was a Co-Owner at Cherry Hill Construction. In 2019, they took on the role of Frontend Developer at fortsaet, where they were responsible for adding key features to their releases. Matthew then worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Quantla, an AI-powered crypto currency trading advisor, from June 2019 to November 2019. Matthew also briefly worked as a Lead Software Engineer at upself.io, a mental health and wellness app, during this period. Matthew joined Function of Beauty in November 2019 as a Full Stack Software Engineer and later became a Lead Software Engineer. Most recently, in May 2022, they became the Director of Web Development at Levain Bakery.

Matthew Gilliland enrolled in the Executive Education Program at Columbia University in 2019, where they studied Full Stack Web Development. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University at Albany, SUNY from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Applied Mathematics from the same institution during the period of 2012 to 2014.
