David Martin

David Martin has over 15 years of experience in data management and analytics. David is currently the Head of Data at Levande, a real estate business focused on sustainable retirement living. In this role, they oversee the data function and works with the Digital and Technology team.

Prior to their current position, David worked at Prospa, where they served as Manager - Data@Prospa. David led a team of data engineers, analysts, scientists, and ML engineers, and was responsible for delivering a new cloud-native data platform. David also played a key role in the Senior Leadership Team and reported directly to the CTO.

Before joining Prospa, David held the position of Executive Manager of Data Engineering - Chief Data Office at Commonwealth Bank. David worked with a talented team and led advancements in data engineering and architecture. David also managed data management and data-related risks while collaborating closely with the business unit data offices and stewards.

Earlier in their career, David worked at Cornerstone Performance Management, Westpac, DMW Consulting Limited, National Grid, Agile Solutions UK, and Home Retail Group PLC. In these roles, they gained experience in information management, data warehouse development, data framework creation, and consulting.

Additionally, David serves as an Industry Advisory Board Member at Macquarie University. David'sexpertise and experience make him a valuable asset in the field of data management and analytics.

David Martin attended the University of Wolverhampton from 1997 to 2000, where they studied Civil Engineering. Prior to that, they also attended Thomas Telford 6 Form for an unspecified period, focusing on GNVQ Information Technology.
