Sachin Sood has over 15 years of work experience, starting in 2003 as a Jr. Design Engineer at Hyva, where they were responsible for executing the pilot build of a tipper truck. Sachin then moved on to work at Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group (BSH) from 2006 to 2014, where they held various roles including Logistics Engineer, Quality Engineer, and Product Manager. During their time at BSH, they coordinated successful product launches, managed product life cycles, and led cross-functional projects to improve inventory planning and reduce costs.
In 2014, Sachin joined Spectrum Brands as a Product Manager, overseeing the portfolio of smart door locks and driving strategic positioning, user research, and product planning. Sachin successfully increased annual revenue and margin targets during their tenure.
From 2020 to 2021, Sachin worked at AMERICAN SECURITY PRODUCTS as a Sr. Product Manager, leading the discovery of innovative products for the smart home market. Sachin conducted research activities to understand target user personas and evaluate the market potential.
In 2021, Sachin became a self-employed contractor, working as a Smart Home & Manufacturing Consultant. Sachin collaborated with various consulting networks and was recognized as a product expert in home appliances by the New York Times.
Currently, Sachin is a Sr. Product Manager at Level Home Inc., a position they started in 2022.
Sachin Sood completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Automotive Engineering from R I T, Shivaji University in the years 1997 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from North Carolina State University, attending from 2004 to 2006.
In addition to their formal education, Sachin Sood has obtained several certifications.
