At Level Playing Field Inc. (LPF), we believe accessibility should never be an afterthought. Founded by Certified Venue Professional (CVP) and ADA Coordinator Darby Lee Young, we bring deep lived experience, technical knowledge, and design expertise to every project. We make sure accessibility is integrated from the start, not added later.

We work across public, private, and institutional sectors to transform environments. From stadiums and campuses to offices and public spaces, we help create inclusive, intuitive places that welcome everyone. Whether you're designing something new or improving what already exists, we guide you beyond code compliance to deliver real-world impact.

What We Do:
• Accessibility audits of existing buildings and public spaces
• Drawing and design reviews from early concept to construction
• Barrier-free code reviews with beyond-code best practices
• Universal Design guidelines tailored to your brand
• Streetscape and public realm accessibility
• Event and venue accessibility planning
• Staff and customer service training focused on inclusive behavior
• Risk mitigation and life safety with accessibility in mind
• Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification (RHFAC), where applicable

We have completed over 300 projects across North America, working with architects, developers, municipalities, universities, venue managers, and corporate clients. Our team includes accessibility strategists, interior designers, and Universal Design educators. All of us are guided by lived experience and a results-driven approach.

Our goal is simple. We remove barriers before they are built and help your space reflect the values of equity, safety, and belonging. Let's create places that work for everyone.
