Rachel Gilliam has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rachel started their career as an Intern at First Financial Bankshares, Inc. in 2012. Rachel then worked as an SFMC Email Marketing Specialist at PFSweb from 2013 to 2015, where they gained experience in promotional email deployment and marketing analysis for leading brands.

In 2015, Rachel joined Herff Jones as a Digital Marketing Manager, responsible for managing digital marketing initiatives. Rachel also served as an Associate Email Marketing Manager during their time there. Following their tenure at Herff Jones, Rachel joined The Richards Group as a Relationship Marketing Manager, specializing in email and CRM.

In 2020, Rachel joined Lev as an Account Director and Client Success Partner. In this role, they built client relationships, grew accounts strategically, and ensured client success and retention. Rachel Gilliam attended Abilene Christian University from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing. Prior to their university education, they attended Creekview High School from 2006 to 2010. In terms of certifications, they obtained the "EDGE|Work Emerging Leaders Program" certification from EDGE Mentoring in July 2022. Additionally, in September 2016 they acquired the certification in "How to Serve Customers Using Social Media" from Lynda.com, and the "Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Special" certification in August 2016.
