Ronen Bar

Ronen Bar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both the non-profit and business sectors. As co-founder and executive director at Sentient since January 2017, Ronen has demonstrated leadership and innovation. Previously, as chairman of the board for The Modern Agriculture Foundation from October 2017 to April 2021, Ronen contributed to the advancement of agricultural practices. At SuperMeat from 2015 to 2016, Ronen was instrumental in managing and executing the company’s crowdfunding campaign, along with fundraising efforts. Founder and manager of the investigation team at Animals Now from 2014 to 2015, Ronen led significant undercover investigations that garnered national and international media attention. Additionally, Ronen served as a reporter and investigator for the investigative reporting TV show Kolbotek between 2012 and 2014, producing in-depth stories. Educationally, Ronen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tel Aviv University, as well as a diploma in Journalism from Koteret School of Journalism.
