How We Do It
Innovate. Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Finding new ways to leverage technology to solve problems faced by society is our commitment.
Educate. Knowledge is the key to many problems of the 21st century. We endeavor to amplify the impact of your gift by educating people on the solutions available to them.
Empower. Finally, by bringing together innovation and education, we empower by giving people the tools they need to solve problems on their own and then to go on to teach others.

The Social Good Fund: Mobile App MVP Campaign is an $11,000 fundraising campaign to fund the development of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). Below is Vanessa’s description of the goal of the mobile app:
Growing up in the suburbs, I never had access to public transportation. When I started driving, I realized how expensive maintaining a car is, and that not everyone has access to private vehicles. Even if car ownership doesn’t create a financial burden for some, widespread single-occupant vehicle travel is concerning for the sake of the environment, traffic congestion, and increased costs of maintaining roads. Public transportation does not reflect the needs of its communities, particularly in recently developed suburban areas. In 2023, I developed the concept of an app for public transit systems where users could request new routes, leave reviews on their experiences, and access current bus schedules in one easily accessible place. We founded Leveraged Good and the Social Good Fund, intending to make this app a reality.
