After several years at MAGFest, Nick decided to return to their roots in software engineering and took a position as a Senior Software Engineer at GP Strategies Corporation. There they worked on developing John Deere's Service ADVISOR vehicle maintenance software (Javascript/CSS/HTML), as well as embedded vehicle software (Linux C++11).

Nick is currently working as a Developer Advocate at Leverege. In this role, they help developers build applications using the company's platform and products. Nick is also working on several open source projects, including an IoT data visualization toolkit and an event-driven data processing framework.

Nick Marinelli has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Nick is certified in Raytheon Six Sigma from Raytheon.

They are on a team with Matthew Gifford - Staff Software Engineer, Tony Lioon - Director, DevOps, and Eric Zhang - Director, Software Integration. Their manager is Stephen Jones, Chief Architect.
