Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence
Kerry McInerney, PhD, serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence since September 2020, previously holding positions as a Research Fellow and Gender and Technology Postdoctoral Researcher. Additionally, Kerry is recognized as the AHRC/BBC Radio 3 New Generation Thinker for 2023 and works as a Research Fellow at the AI Now Institute until November 2024. A Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies at UCL from February 2023 to February 2024, Kerry's academic background includes a postdoctoral role in Gender and Technology at the University of Cambridge, where a PhD in Multi-Disciplinary Gender Studies was also completed. Education credentials include an MPhil in Multi-Disciplinary Gender Studies and a BA in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Kerry has also interned at UN Women in 2016.
