Michael Zarate

Michael Zarate is an experienced aerospace professional with a robust background in aircraft sales and engineering. Currently serving as Sales Director at Leviate Air Group since January 2023, Zarate specializes in private aircraft sales and acquisitions. Previously, roles included Aerospace Engineer at Lockheed Martin and Bell Flight, where contributions to the V-22 Osprey focused on sustainable fluid systems, fleet support, and compliance. Zarate led innovative projects, such as the fuel system development for the Bell Nexus air taxi. Earlier experience includes engineering roles at Textron Aviation Defense, specializing in propulsion and fuel systems. A graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Zarate possesses a strong technical skill set complemented by experience in cross-functional collaboration and supplier management.
