Karen Sutton

Karen Sutton currently serves as the Director of Community Engagement at Levine Museum of the New South, a position held since September 2021, following a role as Community Engagement Manager. Prior to this, Karen worked at Communities In Schools of Charlotte Mecklenburg, Inc. from October 2016 to August 2021, where responsibilities included Social Capital Coordinator and Team Lead, as well as Youth Development Coordinator. Karen's earlier experience includes serving as State Outreach Director for Parents for Educational Freedom of North Carolina from January 2011 to October 2012. Karen holds a degree from the City of Charlotte's Civic Leadership Academy and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
