Kevin Travers

SVP, R&D at LevitasBio

Kevin Travers is currently the VP of R&D at LevitasBio. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director at Roche Sequencing Solutions from June 2016 to October 2017. Before Roche, Kevin was a Principal Scientist at Veracyte from September 2014 to June 2016. Kevin's previous position was Senior Manager at Pacific Biosciences from September 2007 to August 2014, where they developed a novel sequencing template format that increased the efficiency of circularization across a broad range of insert sizes while minimizing the number of steps and the time required. Kevin also led a team of scientists and research associates in the development of protocols to produce these templates for sequencing. Kevin has also worked as a Scientist at Affymetrix from May 2005 to August 2007, and as a Research Fellow at Stanford University from September 2001 to April 2005.

Kevin Travers has a PhD in Biochemistry from Stanford University and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Mathematics from Lewis & Clark College.
