Karin Biller

Karin Biller has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Karin began their career as a Trainee at UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography in 2007. Karin then moved on to PROCESS.ING LifeSciences GmbH, where they worked as a Trainee in 2009. In 2011, they completed their MSc Thesis at Issendorff Thermoprozesstechnik e.K.

From 2012 to the present, Karin has been with LEWA GmbH, where they have held various positions. Karin started as a Research and Development Engineer before progressing to Project Manager and Design Engineer, leading engineering projects in the process industry from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Team Leader and Project Manager for Engineering Process Industry. Most recently, they have held the position of Head of Engineering Skids & Systems until April 2022, when they transitioned to their current role as Head of Product Management & Diversification.

Karin Biller has a diverse education background. In 2009, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from Hochschule Mannheim. Karin then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Chemical and Bioengineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2009 to 2011. Prior to their master's degree, they completed a BSc Thesis at HES-SO Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale in an undisclosed field of study. Recently, in 2022, Karin Biller completed an Executive MBA program with a focus on General Management at Mannheim Business School.
