Nicole Thompson

Nicole Parker, PhD, is a Principal at Lewis-Burke Associates LLC, providing strategic oversight to biomedical research portfolios for non-profit academic research institutions since January 2020. Previously, Nicole served as a Senior Government Relations Associate and Science Policy Analyst at Ripple Effect, where support was provided for policy implementation at the NIH. Nicole's academic background includes a PhD from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a dissertation on GDNF signaling in spermatogonial stem cells, alongside experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant focusing on risk sciences and public policy. Additionally, Nicole held the role of Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellow at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, analyzing issues in higher education.
