Elaine Gass Hirsch

Elaine Gass Hirsch has extensive experience in academic library services, currently serving as the Associate Director of Aubrey R. Watzek Library at Lewis & Clark College since August 1998. In addition to general management responsibilities, Elaine has taken on the role of Deputy Title IX Coordinator since August 2018. Previous positions at Lewis & Clark College include Interim Associate Director, Library Advancement Coordinator, and Reference Librarian. Prior to this, Elaine worked as an Instructional Services Librarian at Texas A&M University from June 1996 to July 1998. Elaine holds a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington and is currently pursuing further education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
