Joann Zhang

Joann Zhang currently serves as the Director of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement at Lewis & Clark College since August 2021. Prior to this role, Joann worked as an Academic Coordinator at Washington State University Vancouver, providing support to business students and advising on graduation plans. Joann's earlier experience includes serving as an Academic and Career Coach at Clackamas Community College, guiding first-generation college students, and as a Multicultural Academic Counselor & Retention Specialist at the University of Oregon, where Joann focused on supporting underrepresented communities. Joann began the professional journey at Mt. Hood Community College, progressing through various roles in admissions and registration. Joann holds a Master's in Education from Oregon State University and a Bachelor's of Science in Education from the University of Oregon.
