Lewis & Clark College
Lisa Neher is a professional mezzo-soprano singer and composer with extensive experience in both performance and education. Since January 2008, Lisa has been running a voice studio, teaching private lessons and conducting studio recitals. In addition to solo work, Lisa serves as a music theory teacher for the Metropolitan Youth Symphony and a substitute teacher at Lewis and Clark College, where also taught History of Western Music 2. Lisa has contributed as a recording session singer for OCP and is an alto in the Resonance Vocal Ensemble. As the artistic director of the One Voice Project, Lisa promotes new compositions for unaccompanied voice. Previous roles include social media specialist for Cascadia Composers and administrative assistant for MB Arts. Lisa holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Iowa and master's and bachelor's degrees in music from The University of Kansas and Lewis & Clark College, respectively.
