Mat Bowers

Mat Bowers is an accomplished Art Director and Designer with extensive experience in creative leadership across multiple prestigious institutions. Currently serving as Art Director/Designer at Lewis & Clark College since April 2024, Mat previously held the position of Creative Director/Designer at Willamette University from June 2021 to November 2023 and at the Pacific Northwest College of Art from August 2016 to November 2023, where a significant rebranding initiative was undertaken. Additional roles include Art Director at UC Berkeley, where Mat contributed to marketing communications, and art direction at Communication Arts magazine, as well as senior creative positions at ATTIK and Autograph Creative, focusing on high-profile projects for leading brands. Mat holds an MFA in Design from California College of the Arts and a BFA in Communication Design from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
