Patty Francy was the first woman to assume the post of treasurer at Columbia University. She previously was director of budget operations and director of finance. She retired as treasurer & controller, and special advisor for alumni relations, serving as well, on the board of governors of the Columbia Club of New York.
Patty currently is a director of the Old Westbury Funds of the Bessemer Trust Company, and a former director of the Siebert Financial Corporation and priceline.com.
She serves on several foundations and not-for-profits including the Stella and Charles Guttman Foundation which funded a community college that encourages students to complete four years. The foundation’s current focus is on the health and education of children ages 0-3. Patty also serves on the William J. Matheson Foundation for neurobiological research, and the Muriel F. Siebert Foundation which was funded by the first woman with a seat on the New York Stock Exchange. Patty was the former chairman of the Women’s Economic Roundtable and the Guttman Mammography Clinic where she oversaw its acquisition by Memorial Sloan Kettering.
