Pilar Hernandez W

Pilar Hernandez W is an accomplished academic and licensed therapist with extensive experience in the field of mental health. Currently serving as a Professor at the Graduate School of Education and Counseling at Lewis & Clark College since 2017, Pilar also holds the position of Associate Professor and Director of the Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy program at the Lewis and Clark College Family Therapy Program since 2011. Prior to these roles, Pilar was an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University from 2008 to 2011 and at San Diego State University from 2002 to 2008. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a focus on family therapy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BS in Psychology from Universidad de Los Andes. Pilar is a clinical member and approved supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
