Bert Sahlberg is the President at Lewis-Clark State College. Prior to this, they were the Director of Communications/sports information at Lewis-Clark State College from August 2003 to October 2011. In this role, they oversaw all media relations, internal and external web sites, chaired the advertising committee, did media buying, wrote script for weekly sports show and served as host for a year, wrote all press releases, helped with game management for athletics, wrote commencement and other speeches for the president, and had various other duties. From November 2011 to June 2013, Sahlberg was the Director of Marketing/Community Relations at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. In this role, they oversaw Marketing, Media Relations! Community Relation, internal and external web sites and advertising. Bert wrote and produced employee newsletter, brochures and other materials. Bert Sahlberg began their career as an editorial writer after being sports editor at the Lewiston Morning Tribune from February 1989 to August 2003.

Bert Sahlberg attended the University of Idaho, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Bert also attended Pocatello High School.
