Graphic Artist at Lewis Communications

Lee Little has been working in the creative industry since 1989. Lee started their career as an Art Director/Graphic Designer at Advertising 7, Inc. before moving on to George Hall Typography as a Production Artist. In 1991, they began working at Communication Arts, Inc. as a Production Artist, where they used Macintosh computer equipment for complete production of black and white and color jobs. Lee then moved to Craftsman Printing in 1993 as a Prepress Production Specialist in the Electronic Prepress Department. In 1995, they worked as a Graphic Designer/Production Artist at Directional Publishing, where they were responsible for photo-retouching and color correction of art prints, as well as designing and producing catalogs and direct marketing materials. At Lawler Ballard Van Durand from 1999 to 2015, they held the roles of Production Artist, Graphic Designer, and Art Director. Here, they designed and produced magazine ads, newspaper ads, print materials, brochures, folders, maps, presentations, sales material, food packaging, t-shirts, illustration, and web graphics. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Production Artist at American Printing Co. Inc. and from 2016 to 2019, they were a Production Artist/Graphic Designer/Art Director/Studio Manager at blr further. At blr further, they designed and produced magazine ads, newspaper ads, online ads, email marketing, digital and printed outdoor, print materials, online health newsletters, brochures, photo directories, charts, maps, sales material, packaging, t-shirts, kiosks, signage, tradeshow booths, vehicle wraps, and agency presentations. Lee also took care of photo retouching, color correction, web graphics, and some website content updates.

Lee Little attended Pinson Valley High School from 1981 to 1984, and then obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from Auburn University from 1984 to 1989. Lee has also obtained a number of certifications from LinkedIn and Lynda.com, including Responsive Layout (June 2019), Sass Essential Training (February 2019), Bootstrap 4 Essential Training (January 2019), CSS Essential Training 3 (December 2018), HTML Essential Training (December 2018), JavaScript Essential Training (December 2018), Learning Responsive Design (December 2018), CSS Essential Training 1 (November 2018), Programming Foundations: Fundamentals (November 2018), UX Foundations: Accessibility (November 2018), User Experience for Web Designers (November 2018), Web Development Foundations: Full-Stack vs Front-End (November 2018), Web Programming Foundations (November 2018), Learning Aerial Photography with Drones (November 2017), and CSS Fundamentals (January 2016).
