Michael Garcia has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources, with a focus on talent acquisition and workforce planning. Michael started their career at West Corporation as a Talent Acquisition Manager, where they managed high volume recruitment activities for a large outsourced teleservices company. Michael then moved on to Systagenix (formerly KCI) as the Head of Talent Acquisition, overseeing a team of HR professionals and the employment process for a medical device manufacturing company.

Next, Garcia joined Accenture as the North America Talent Acquisition Leader, where they directed a team of up to 50 professionals in recruitment strategies for Fortune 500 companies. Michael was responsible for implementing innovative talent acquisition practices, including social media and data analytics techniques.

Garcia then joined XLHealth, where they served as a Senior HR Manager, responsible for creating and developing HR activities for multiple locations across several states. Finally, they joined Lewis Energy Group as the Head of Human Resources, leading the overall HR strategy for a 2000 employee organization. Michael reported to the CAO and played a key role in developing the company's Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values.

Michael Garcia, SPHR, LDSS, has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Personnel/Human Resources from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Michael also obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Admin from St. Phillip's College. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from OW Holmes.

In terms of certifications, Michael obtained the Leadership Development & Succession Strategist (LDSS) Certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in December 2018.
