Patti Shank, PhD, currently serves as a School Board Member for Colorado D38 in the Lewis-Palmer School District as of December 2023. With extensive experience as President of Learning Peaks, LLC since May 1996, Patti Shank specializes in assisting organizations and higher education institutions in the analysis, planning, design, development, and evaluation of various learning environments. Formerly, Patti Shank held the position of Research Director at The eLearning Guild from April 2012 to September 2014, where responsibilities included developing research agendas, writing reports, and analyzing data. Additionally, Patti Shank served as Adjunct Faculty at both the University of Colorado Denver and George Washington University, focusing on Information and Learning Technologies and Educational Technology Leadership, respectively. Lewis-Palmer School District 38 is located in El Paso County, Colorado, and serves approximately 6,500 students in the Palmer Lake, Monument, Woodmoor, and the northern Black Forest areas. D38 has five elementary schools (PreK to grade six), one middle school (grades seven to eight), and two high schools (grades nine to 12).
