J. Edward Cady

J. Edward Cady has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. J. Edward started their career at Pierce County Board of Education in 2002, where they served as an Operations Support Specialist and later transitioned to the role of Technology Support Specialist. In 2007, they joined the Pierce County Board of Commissioners as a Planning/Zoning Specialist. J. Edward then moved on to become the Technology Director at Pierce County GA Government in 2009. In 2012, J. Edward became the Human Resource Director at Pierce County Board of Commissioners, and a year later, they joined the Office of the Sheriff, Pierce County GA, where they managed Human Resources and Technology. J. Edward continued their career in the public sector as the Human Resources Director & Risk Management at Ware County, GA Government from 2016 to 2018. J. Edward Cady then took on the role of Executive Director at Downtown Waycross Development Authority from 2018 to 2020. J. Edward subsequently worked as a Store Perishable Manager at Dollar General from April to October 2021. Most recently, they have been employed as an Economic Development Consultant at GEORGIA SE ECONOMIC CONSULTING GROUP @520 LLC since February 2020. J. Edward Cady's current position is in Fleet Logistics at Lewis & Raulerson, Inc., where they have been working since February 2023.

J. Edward Cady completed a certification and advanced certification program in Human Resources at the University of Georgia's Carl Vinson Institute of Government from 2011 to 2016. J. Edward then pursued studies in Economic Development at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, starting and ending in 2019. Prior to that, J. Edward Cady engaged in coursework related to E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce (Finance) at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1996. Additionally, they pursued studies in Microcomputer Specialist at Okefenokee Technical College in 1992. Lastly, J. Edward Cady obtained a high school diploma with a Vocation Seal from Ware County Senior High School in 1988.
