Charles Thornhill

Charles Thornhill is the Co-Chief Marketing Officer at Lewis Silkin LLP. Charles has over 10 years of experience working in marketing and business development for law firms.

Charles started their career as a Business Development Manager for IBB Solicitors. Charles then worked as a Senior Consultant for Robert Walters, placing people into leading law firms in London and the Middle East. In 2012, they joined Linklaters as the Head of Marketing, Communications & Business Development for Northeast & Southeast Asia. In this role, they were responsible for pan-region marketing, communications, and business development.

In 2015, Charles joined Lewis Silkin as the Director of Business Development & Marketing. In 2018, they were promoted to Co-Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, they are responsible for working with creative, innovative, and tech-focused businesses.

Charles Thornhill attended The University of Law, where they earned a PGDL in Law. Charles then attended UCL, where they earned a 2:1 in Theirtory BA (Hons). Finally, they attended Merchant Taylors' School, where they earned A Levels in Theirtory, Biology, and English Literature.
