James Gill

James Gill is a legal professional with extensive experience in the fields of digital, commerce, and creative law. Currently serving as Partner and Co-Head of Digital, Commerce and Creative at Lewis Silkin since December 2012, James previously held the position of Partner at SJ Berwin LLP from June 2005 to December 2012, specializing in the Commerce & Technology group. Prior to that, James worked as a Senior Lawyer at Freshfields from April 2000 to April 2005, focusing on technology, commercial contracts, and outsourcing. James began the legal career as a Trainee and Associate at Squire Patton Boggs from September 1995 to March 2000. Educationally, James holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Leicester, obtained between 1991 and 1994, and attended King Edward VII School, Edgbaston.
