Elizabeth Lay

Elizabeth Lay has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Elizabeth started their career as a Structural Analyst at Duke Energy in 1982 before moving on to Siemens in 1990 as a Manager in Field Service Risk Management. Elizabeth then joined Calpine in 2013 as a Director of Human Performance, and later worked at Resilience Engineering Association as the Communications Chairperson in 2017. In 2018, they became the Director of Safety and Human Performance at Lewis Tree Service Inc. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Resilience and Reliability at the same company. Elizabeth Lay also worked as a Consultant and Business Owner at Applied Resilience starting in 2016.

Elizabeth Lay's education history includes a range of experiences in different fields. In 1990, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
