Kathrynne Skonicki

Kathrynne Skonicki has a diverse work experience spanning from 1998 to present. Kathrynne started their career as a Morning Newscast Producer at WLFI-TV18, where they produced a daily 90-minute morning newscast, managed a team, and collaborated with community leaders. After that, they worked at the Diocese of Joliet as an Interim Editor, progressing from a reporter/photographer to assistant editor and earning numerous awards for their work. Since 2008, they have been associated with Lewis University, holding several roles including Director of Media Relations, Executive Director for Public Relations and Communications, and Adjunct Instructor. In these roles, they led a team, secured positive media placements, taught college courses, and served as a mentor and resource person for first-year students.

Kathrynne Skonicki completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications at St. Joseph's College (IN) from 1994 to 1998. Kathrynne then pursued a Master's Degree in Information Security at Lewis University from 2009 to 2012. Recently, from 2019 to 2021, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing, also from Lewis University.
