Laura Franklin

Laura Franklin currently serves as the Vice Provost of Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Humanities, Fine Arts and Communications at Lewis University since July 2019. Prior to this, Laura held the position of Chair of Fine and Performing Arts at Saint Louis University from July 2015 to June 2019. Laura's extensive experience in academia also includes a role as Professor of Music and Chair of the Division of Fine Arts at Brevard College, where Laura worked from August 1998 to June 2015. Laura holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Music Performance - Percussion from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, as well as two Master of Music degrees in Musicology and Music Performance - Percussion from the New England Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from Texas Tech University.
