Teresa J Bixby

Teresa J Bixby is a distinguished academic at Lewis University, currently serving as the Assistant Vice Provost of Assessment and Educational Effectiveness and a Full Professor of Chemistry. Bixby has held various titles at Lewis University since July 2012, including Director of University Assessment and Associate Professor of Chemistry. Active in the Iota Sigma Pi organization, Bixby has been the Membership Affairs Coordinator and Treasurer since May 2013, and previously served as the National Council's Webmaster from June 2014 to July 2020. Bixby's research includes significant postdoctoral work at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on the photophysical behavior of semiconductor nanocrystals. Educational credentials include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Washington and a BS in Physics and Chemistry from Susquehanna University.
