Karlene Maas

Karlene Maas has extensive experience in the retail and education sectors. Currently serving as an ESL Classroom Aide and Long Term Substitute Teacher at Lewisville ISD since March 2021, Karlene previously held multiple positions at The Michaels Companies, Inc. from 1996 to 2020, including Senior Buyer and Category Manager in the Paper Crafting Division. Karlene's earlier career included roles at Lamps Plus as a Buyer, focusing on interior lighting and developing private label products, and at JW Robinsons Department Store, progressing from Buyer in Housewares to Assistant Store Manager. Karlene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel and Textiles/Fashion Merchandising from The University of Texas at Austin.
