Ed Farrell

Ed Farrell has extensive work experience in various leadership positions in the biotechnology and healthcare industries. Starting in 1995, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Manufacturing Engineer and later became a Manufacturing Supervisor. In 1999, they joined Thermo King as a Production Manager. In 2001, they joined Bayer HealthCare Diagnostics as a Manufacturing Manager and later became the Director of Distribution and Field Service Support.

In 2007, Ed Farrell joined Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Products Ltd as a Managing Director, a position they held until 2013. During this time, they also served as the Managing Director of Quotient Limited from 2010 to 2013.

From 2013 to 2022, Farrell worked at Quotient Limited as the Chief Operating Officer. In 2022, they joined Klay Biotech as the Chief Operating Officer, a position they held until 2023.

Currently, Ed Farrell serves as the Chief Executive Officer of LEX Diagnostics, a position they have held since 2023.

Ed Farrell began their education at University College Dublin in 1987, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ed completed this program in 1991. Ed continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Science (M.Eng.Sc) between 1991 and 1993.
