LEX Diagnostics
Tim Schuller has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tim currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at LEX Diagnostics since November 2022, and previously served as Principal Scientist from May 2021 to November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at PA Consulting Group as a Principal Consultant - Applied Sciences from March 2018 to May 2021, and as a Consultant - Applied Sciences from January 2016 to March 2018. From 2012 to 2015, Tim worked at Sagentia as a Science and Technology Consultant, providing science and technology consultancy to clients from the Medical, Consumer, and Industrial sectors. Tim also served as the Sector Manager for Oil & Gas and Industrial from December 2013 to June 2014. Tim's early career includes a PhD in Material Science from the University of Bristol, where they focused on Gallium Nitride Sensor Devices. Tim also worked as a Teaching Laboratory Demonstrator during their time at the university, responsible for the supervision and examination of undergraduate physics students.
Tim Schuller attended the University of Bristol from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Physics. Tim graduated with an MSci.

LEX Diagnostics is a medical device company that specializes in molecular diagnostics for primary care. Having solved the PCR cost problem, LEX focuses tightly on nasal and oral samples, and on viral pathogens, to avoid the other high-cost elements of traditional molecular diagnostic products. LEX Diagnostics is a spin-out from TTP plc, atechnology development company in the life science and medical device sector. The origins of the LEX technology lie in an internal R&D project to reduce the time it takes to get a result from a PCR test. It formed a company when it became clear the solution also reduced the cost and size of any diagnostic device using it.LEX Diagnostics was founded in 2020 and is based in Melbourn, United Kingdom.
