Celeste Peverett has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Most recently, they hold the position of Head of Europe, Global Markets at Lex Mundi starting in 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Strategy and Business Development Consultant from November 2022 to June 2023.

Earlier in their career, Celeste worked at Herbert Smith Freehills, starting in 2016, where they held multiple roles including Business Development Lead for ESG & Climate Change, Business Development Lead for Infrastructure, and Business Development Lead for International Markets. At Herbert Smith Freehills, they focused on strategic business development initiatives in various regions including the UK, EMEA, Africa, India, and Latin America. Celeste also had responsibilities in the Mining sector and managing relationships with local law firms.

Before joining Herbert Smith Freehills, Celeste held positions at Webber Wentzel as Head of Client Services: Banks and Business Development and Strategy Manager, as well as at The High Street Auction Company as a Sales Executive. Earlier in their career, they worked at Aon South Africa (Pty) Limited as a Legal Risk Manager, Investec Bank Limited as a Property Financier, White & Case LLP as a Finance Lawyer, and Allen & Overy as a Leveraged Finance Solicitor. Celeste began their legal career as an Attorney at Norton Rose Group.

Celeste Peverett earned their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from KU Leuven in 1996. Celeste also pursued further education at North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit from 1992 to 2000, completing a B Juris LLB MBA degree. During this time, they focused on studying banking, corporate, finance, and securities law. Additionally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
