Kevin Koplin

Kevin Koplin has a long and varied work experience. Kevin began their career in 1994 as an Assistant District Attorney for the Bronx County District Attorney's Office. In 1996, they moved to the Appeals Bureau, where they drafted and argued appellate briefs before the Court of Appeals and the Appellate Division, First Department. In 1999, they became Associate General Counsel and Director of Compliance for the Ophthalmic Network of Excellence, advising the company on legal and business matters. In 2001, they joined the NASD as a Compliance Examiner, reviewing broker-dealer business plans, financial information, procedures, qualifications and contractual agreements. In 2004, they moved to McCabe Flynn as a Securities Regulatory Attorney, advising broker-dealers on corporate and securities regulation issues. In 2008, they became a Partner and Lawyer at Law Firm at Barton LLP, where they counseled clients on drafting operating agreements, incorporating broker-dealers and holding companies, and preparing the broker-dealer application for submission to the appropriate securities self-regulatory organization. In 2020, they joined LexCheck as the Director of Solution Delivery.

Kevin Koplin attended The Dalton School from 1983 to 1987, followed by Lafayette College from 1988 to 1992, where they earned an AB in Theirtory. In 1990 and 1991, they attended the Oxford Centre for Hebrew Studies. Kevin then went on to Cardozo School of Law, where they earned a JD - cum laude in Law from 1991 to 1994. Kevin also attended Allen-Stevenson.
