Karalina V.

Karalina V. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Karalina started their career as a Data Entry Operator at Digital Generation, where they were responsible for managing and entering data, as well as handling IT issues. Karalina then moved on to become an Administrative Assistant at the same company, primarily focusing on data entry and managing the Malinko system.

Karalina later worked as a Digital Marketing Engineer at Charter Australia for a brief period, followed by a role as a Freelance Scala/Java Developer, where they worked independently on various projects.

Karalina then joined Gridstone, a company owned by Motorola Solutions, as an iOS Developer. In this role, they were involved in defect resolution, designing architecture, implementing features, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Karalina then transitioned to Cognizant as an Associate Software Engineer and worked on self-directed research projects, contributing to open-source projects, and creating proofs-of-concept to demonstrate their findings.

At Tabcorp, Karalina worked as a Scala Developer on a large-scale integration project. Their responsibilities included refactoring and extending existing codebases using Scala frameworks like Play, Akka, and Slick.

Most recently, Karalina joined Lexer as an Integrations Developer, where they are currently employed.

Karalina V. attended North Sydney TAFE from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a Diploma in Games Development. Prior to that, they completed their Higher School Certificate at Penrith High School from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2018.
